Administrative Team:
Our fully trained personnel offer a helpful and friendly service and will arrange all appointments, referrals, field of vision testing and retinal photography.

Opticians:
The Opticians are fully qualified and experienced and attend regular courses and seminars to gain further knowledge and qualification to remain on the Optical Council Register.
Dispensing Opticians:
Our qualified Dispensers will help you to choose the right frame and lenses for your prescription and administer fittings and repairs. Fittings take place Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternative Saturday mornings. (Subject to change).
Technician:
The experienced technician in the workshop at our Huntingdon practice can make up some single vision prescriptions in as little as 30 minutes. More complex prescriptions, such as bifocals or varifocals, are glazed in house upon receipt of lenses ordered to your individual prescription. A wide range of repairs can also be carried out while you wait, such as the fitting of new nose pads or screws and the re-edging of your existing lenses into a new frame.

Comments and Complaints:
Gathercole and Ward will at all times endeavour to provide a good service and we are always pleased to receive comments and suggestions from patients. These may be made personally or in a letter to the Practice Manager.

We fall under the umbrella of the Cambridgeshire Primary Care Trust. The Priory, Priory Road, St.Ives, PE27 5BB.

Parking:
Gathercole & Ward Opticians in Ramsey have a car park that can be accessed via Little Whyte. Patients are welcome to use our car park if there are spaces, but please remember our opening hours. Alternatively, there are public car parks and half an hour free parking on the High Street and parking restricted to one hour along Little Whyte.
Disabled Patients:
The consulting rooms and frame room are at ground level at our Ramsey practice.
